The minster building we delivered
Paragon was re-engaged by Greycoat Real Estate to complete the complex fit out and refurbishment of three Minster Court, located in the heart of The City. The 480,0000 sq ft space had been purchased with the intention to breath new life into the existing office building that has extraordinary views across the Eastern City, the Thames and the Tower of London.
Paragon had been awarded this contract under a two stage tender, with a preconstruction phase of six month. The project team began the extensive strip out works to the reception area, Ground floor curtain walling and glazing and then started transforming atrium. An impressive 30 metre-long boulevard was installed that led directly to the central atrium where the building reception is located.
The eight storey atrium is 70 metres high and 18 metres in diameter is the heart of this project that floors the space with light and truly impressive to anyone entering the building.
The large floor area of the entrance has allowed part of the space to be taken over by an in-house juice bar, operated by Crush, with stylish informal café seating for meetings and private work.
In addition to this, Paragon also refurbished the core areas including stairwells, good lifts and main lifts. The Cat A works to the former trading floor on level was fitted out into a grade A workspace a with 3.3 metre floor-to-ceiling heights, while other floors average 2.75 metres. Architectural features of this project included the specialist installation of armourcoat polished plaster, feature lighting, a bespoke reception desk and Jesmonite flooring.
